Tulane alumni clubs around the country have been hosting local events to celebrate the 2026 Carnival season. Here are some photos from our alumni in New York and Seattle, taken during their Mardi Gras celebrations.

Club of Seattle: Mardi Gras celebration

Tulane alumni gathered at Bale Breaker & Yonder Cider Taproom in the Ballard neighborhood on Saturday, Feb. 7, for a festive Mardi Gras celebration hosted by the Tulane Club of Seattle. With king cake shipped directly from New Orleans, Tulanians enjoyed an afternoon of Carnival spirit while reconnecting with fellow Green Wave alumni.

Club of New York: Mardi Gras brunch

Tulane alumni gathered in Tribeca on Saturday, Feb. 7, to celebrate Mardi Gras with a festive afternoon of king cake shipped from New Orleans, French-inspired cuisine and Green Wave camaraderie. Hosted by the Tulane Alumni Club of New York at 1803 NYC, the family-friendly event brought Tulanians together to reconnect, celebrate Carnival season and laissez les bons temps rouler.
